Work. It's Sometimes a Problem.

I know I've not been a frequent blogger lately.  I have good reasons (excuses) for that.

I started back at work.  I have nearly two months off every summer, and I am extremely grateful for that.  Going back to work can be a bit of a shock to the system (e.g., WTF?  I still have to do laundry and dishes?!).  I do love my career; however, no matter what, I will always maintain that a four-day work week would always be better than a five-day work week.

Here are some illustrations of the adaptations to change I've been faced with lately.

That's it.  It's way past my bedtime.  Tomorrow is Monday, and I'll be stealing moments in Blogland here and there but never when I'm at work.

  1. Love the differences!! Yep I can see how much more relaxed one would be off work, compared to at work :)

    1. Thanks! It was fun to find funny pics to depict what I was going for.

  2. It's funny, when my child was younger and I was still working, I felt that 'going to work' was my break!! I was job sharing, best of both worlds. At the time ;-)
And, I have to say ... I want a hammock!

  3. Hi Kristy, I sooo get this. I just started back to work full-time on August 1st and needless to say, I'm still trying to wrestle will my schedule. I try to do my best to schedule "fun," but sometimes trying to fit-in errands etc. during the week makes me downright tired and grumpy. I want to be stay-at-home again. Now, if I can just figure out a way to do it...

    1. Oh my goodness, today was especially trying! I just felt so bad that I hardly have time for fun with my kiddo because the weekend is all TASKS that need to be done. Sigh.
